Uploading photos

Note: before uploading any photos, remember to select a watermark to protect your photos from misuse. We recommend using the one provided by GotPhoto, but feel free to use your own. Moreover, it is a good idea to check the colour profile recommended by your printing lab: as a rule of thumb we recommend sRGB.

Using your Browser

  1. Create one album for every class / group of people

In the “Photo Management” section click on the blue button “+Create new album” and give a name to the album.

  1. Click on the albums and upload photos in the group and the individuals section respectively

You can do this by clicking on the blue button “Upload Photos”, either on the Group Photos section or in the individuals photos section. Here you can drag and drop photos into the uploading area. You can also also click on the “Chose photos to upload” to find the select the files directly.

  1. Click on Upload Photos

While the photos are being uploaded you should not close the window. If you want to start uploading on different albums at the same time, you can open new tabs and start working on other albums in these new tabs.

  1. Prepare and generate passwords (for personal passwords)

With password cards:

  1. Sort photos by name by clicking on “Sort” under the “Actions” button
  2. Check that all passwords cards have been recognised by the system (marked on green). You might need to wait up to 5 minutes for all password cards to get recognised.
  3. (Optional) if any password card has not been recognised, click on the preview on the right side and right the password on the box on the button left corner.
  4. Click on the green button “Create passwords”

  2. Select the first photos of each child while holding ctrl (cmd on Mac)
